- As bad as Commodore was about getting the message out, a couple
- of million Amigas were sold. Several hundred thousand were sold in the
- US. This is a small established base, but it is much larger than that for
- the BeBox. The Escom A4000T will have to come down in price to compete,
- true. But they will. And the next generation will provide more power. And
- an excellent OS.
- Bang for buck is not the only thing people look for in a
- computer. Were that so, the first mass-market multi-media computers would
- have been small Amigas rather than expanded PCs.
